National School Lunch Week!

National School Lunch Week is scheduled for October 10-14, 2016. Created by President John F. Kennedy in 1962, National School Lunch Week (NSLW) is a weeklong celebration of the school lunch program. SNA members celebrate in their cafeterias every year with decorations, special menus, events, and more.
The NSLW 2016 theme, “Show Your Spirit,” is about getting excited about the benefits of students consuming wholesome, healthy school lunches—fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, milk, and smiling students.

This year at Seneca, the elementary classes participated in creating the menu for NSLW. Check out the menu on the homepage for the specific days and items each class came up with! Giveaways will be included with each student's meal for the week as well!
