      • $300 donation toward the 13th annual “Reality Check” program

    • We here at the school would like to thank the Foundation for their continued dedicated efforts in support of our school. Since 2006, the Foundation has generously donated a total of over $116,250. to our school and students. These projects would not have been possible without the financial support of the Foundation, and all those individuals who support the Foundation. We appreciate your hard work and generosity!

Welcome to the Seneca Educational Foundation

Welcome to the Seneca Educational Foundation - founded in 2006 to enhance the educational opportunities of the Seneca School students.

OUR STORY

The Articles of Incorporation for the Seneca Educational Foundation were filed in 1995. The project stalled until 2004, at which time renewed interest resulted in successful efforts in receiving a determination of tax exempt status from the IRS. That determination became final in February of 2005. The first full year of operation was 2006, and the S.E.F. has grown considerably from that modest beginning. Since that time, the basic operating principle remains the same: the primary goal is to funnel every possible dollar to enhance educational opportunities for Seneca Students. All who serve as members of the Board of Directors serve without any compensation, including the President, which is the only administrative position. A review of 2011, which was a typical year, found 7% of monies collected went for operating expenses (state fees, postage, mailbox rent, & printing) with 93% being made available for our students.
