On Monday, May 9, Crawford County detective Ryan Fradette, Officer Cody Mullikin, and School Resource Officer Liz Volten visited the elementary students and educated them on use of the emergency 911 system, and how to properly dial 911.  They also informed students on how to identify safe and unsafe strangers.  The officers were joined by special guest McGruff the Crime Dog at the end of their presentation, who encouraged students to "take a bite out of crime".  The students enjoyed the presentation, and came away better prepared to deal with emergency situations.

Thanks to these officers and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department for organizing and planning this very worthwhile presentation!
