Seneca Elementary Staff celebrates their win with Dunkin'

"Dunkin’ Back to School Party Pack Winner!"

Please stop by Sunrise Orchards this weekend for some fall fun and visit the Seneca FFA Food Stand.
We will be serving pulled pork sandwiches & hot dog meals. Plus the pork is from Ma's Bakery in Bloomington!
All proceeds go towards supporting agricultural opportunities for the students in Seneca FFA Chapter.

Food stand will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm.

Start your day off right by buying a delicious drink from the Seneca FBLA Club's drink bar!
It will be opening on Tuesday of September 9. Any student/staff member is welcome to stop down and buy a drink before the school day begins. They will be selling coffees and dirty sodas for $5 every Tuesday and Friday morning. As the year progresses, they will start having weekly specials with new flavors. Don't miss out and make sure to tell your friends!

Robotics Opportunities
Student Mentors (grade 8-12)
Sept 10th, Wednesday from after school till ~5pm

We will introduce the technology (Lego robotics, sensors, programming environment).
Each student will practice explaining the technology, and applying good mentoring practices. Some role playing is likely to help each student achieve a level of confidence.
Those students that are interested (and not having a conflicting schedule), would support Amy's Sept 17th-Oct 22nd (Monday and Wednesday till 4:45pm) 4H robotics sessions.

Robotics Program (grades 4-7)
Room 101
The robotics program will run 6 weeks on Monday and Wednesdays from afterschool until 4:45p.m. It will start on September 17th and conclude on October 22nd. This program would suit students in grades 4-7. Students would spend time building robots, learning programming and working on programming challenges once they learned the basics of programming. The group of students will also have the opportunity to put on a demonstration on Oct 4th at the Seneca Town Hall (as part of the Driftless MakerSpace Expo), as well as a demonstration for their parents, possibly after the program on October 22nd.

There is an opportunity for kids to fly free tomorrow at the Prairie du Chien airport with the Young Eagles program. They will meet the pilot. learn the principles of flight, and take a 20 minute flight. Parental permission is required.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 2nd is the first day of school!! There is an early release at 1:30 pm!

There will be no practice today for MS and HS Cross Country. Practice tomorrow (9/2) will be from 2:30 to 4 pm

We want to thank everyone who has worked so hard to make this fundraiser possible. The ride will take off at 10:00 AM from Bucks Ridge Saloon. If you plan to participate, please arrive a little early to get checked in and ready to go.

We are also very grateful for the generous raffle basket donations we’ve already received. If anyone would still like to donate a basket, we would be more than happy to accept it! All baskets can be dropped off on the day of the ride at Bucks Ridge Saloon.

It looks like it will be a great day for a tractor/UTV ride! We look forward to seeing everybody and truly appreciate your support of our basketball programs!
