The June 21, 2021 Seneca Board of Education agenda has been posted to the school districts website.

Congrats to not one but two Seneca High School students who qualified for Track SECTIONALS!! They will compete today at the Boscobel Division 3 Sectional track meet, beginning at 3:30!! Both of these athletes are underclassmen and are competing in their first High School Track season this year! Good Luck Taylor and Ethan, we are so proud of you both! Taylor Snyder has had a great season scoring 71 points for her team. She tried a variety of events but found her most success in triple jump at the end of the season. With the help of her coaches, she has made significant gains in her event and posted her season best jump of 31’ 1.5” in the regionals. This helped her advance to her very first sectionals meet.  She is very excited and looking forward to the tough competition. Ethan Stanley has had a great season scoring 122 points for his team. Throughout the season he participated in 100m, 200m, long jump, and at the end of the season, forming a 4x100 relay team. He is one of the best athletes in our conference and he is only a freshman. He qualified for sectionals in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash. He has worked very hard this season to be the best he can be. This hard work led him to posting his best time of the year in the 100 meter at regionals.  His goal for the season was to post a time below 12 seconds. He reached that goal not once but 2 times on Monday at regionals with a time of 11.89. He is very excited to compete with the best from our area. 

Congrats to the Seneca HS Softball team!  Regional Champs with a win over Wonewoc-Center. 6-5!  The fire trucks will bring them from the field through town here shortly! Congrats Ladies!!

Congrats to Tommy Lenzendorf for placing 2nd at the HS JV State Trap Shoot. He scored 93/100 shots!! Great Job!

5/27/2021 HS softball and baseball games scheduled for tonight @ North Crawford have been postponed to June 8th due to the weather. There will be NO softball or baseball practice after school today.

Please return all library books by Friday, May 28.

Due to a bus driver shortage on Thursday, May 27, 2021 the Seneca Area School District will have four afternoon bus routes instead of five. Those who ride Richard’s bus will ride Illene’s bus. Those who ride Illene’s bus (except for Seneca Heights and Dahlberg’s) will ride Mike’s bus. This may get your child(ren) home a little later. If you prefer to pick up your child(ren) please call 608-734-3411. We apologize for any inconveniences.
