The Seneca Area School District will be participating in #BeTheLightWI. Every friday night at 8:00pm (20:00 military time) we will turn the football/baseball field lights on for 20 min and 20 sec to honor the Class of 2020, our Spring Athletes, and our entire Student Body/Staff. If you would like to drive by or park your cars to watch, you may. We ask that you maintain safe social distance requirements so that we may continue to do this each week. We will attempt to do a LIVE facebook video, so please bear with us!

Governor Tony Evers announced on April 16 that Wisconsin schools will remain closed through the end of the current school year. The Safer at Home guidelines have been extended through May 26. Our District will follow those guidelines, in order to be as safe as possible for our employees and community.
Our school will continue to provide the programs and services as we have since the initial guidelines were issued.
If you would like to purchase a Senior Class of 2020 support yard sign, please text or call Chelsea Greene at 608-412-1805. She will be taking orders until NOON on Friday 4/24. They are $15.00

The school has arranged for Mike McGowan to set up a series of videos and resources to help students and parents/ guardians deal with some of the challenges resulting from the school closure. UW-Platteville has offered to make their student teachers available, for any students who may need online tutoring for schoolwork. For more information go to "Online Student Tutoring Available" in the School Closure Folder on the website.
Reminder to all parents and guardians to check email consistently, in order to communicate with teachers. Please verify that the email you are currently using is updated with the school, in order to assist in this communication.
We will hold spring break as originally scheduled, on April 10; April 13; and April 14. Students would not have to do school work over those days, and teachers may not be available to respond to questions.
The school lunch program will continue to operate during that time.
SENECA VIRTUAL SPIRIT WEEK!
Parents and students of Seneca Schools! The Seneca High School yearbook class is preparing for next year’s book, and would like to include captured moments of this unexpected, yet impactful, time in our lives by hosting a virtual Seneca Spirit Week! Starting Monday, April 6th , we’d like to receive photos showcasing your participation in the fun days (elementary through high school).
Each day we will encourage students (and parents!) to participate in a dress-up day. Take a photo and share it on the page. We will also post a question or prompt to ask the kids. Please include their full name after you post their response (I don’t know all the kids’ last names). Please post photos to this page in the comments section below the appropriate day.

New Meal sign-up. The sign up dates are through the end of April! Remember we are only doing pick-ups 3 days a week. Mondays & Thursdays have 2 days worth of meals to pick up. Wednesday pick ups will include one day of meals. Please sign up for the days that you will be picking meals up and select your location. We hope the kiddos are enjoying the meals! Thank you

Seniors/Senior Parents...unfortunately the Senior Class trip to St. Louis has been cancelled.
There are bins available by the front doors of the school, from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., to collect homework that students may need to pass on to the teachers.
